Legacy Mergers & Acquisitions Completes Successful Sale of Established, Highly-Reputable North Carolina Kitchen-Design Business
Durham, NC---On February 28th, 2017, Legacy Mergers & Acquisitions successfully completed the sale of substantially all of the assets of The Kitchen Specialist, Inc. of Durham, North Carolina to LMN Designs, Inc.
Established in 1989 by President & Founder Mary Liebhold, CKD, The Kitchen Specialist has been using its expertise and creative vision to design countless, elegant kitchens over its nearly three-decade existence.

The business will continue to operate under the name The Kitchen Specialist with all key employees, including Lead Designer and current Eastern NC National Kitchen & Bath Association (“NKBA”) President Mary Kate Bedell, expected to stay on with the company for the foreseeable future. Mrs. Liebhold will also stay on as a designer and consultant, giving up her administrative roles as a business owner and focusing entirely on continuing to service The Kitchen Specialist’s customers.

The Kitchen Specialist is located at 3407 University Drive, Durham, NC 27707 and is open 8:30AM – 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday.
